BRIEF PROFILE OF BOARD MEMBERS

Ms. Siafuah Mai Gray is an experience lawyer with over eight years of experience. She is currently Head of Litigation at the International Law Group. She began her career as the Legal counsel and PRO at the Supping West Africa and later moved to the Association of Female Lawyers of Liberia where she served as counsel and mediator, providing legal services to females who had issues relating to domestic violence and persistent non-support. Ms. Gray is a graduate of the Lewis Arthur Grimes School of Law. She has been a member of IWI board since July 2016.

Mrs. Cyvette M. Gibson is the youngest mayor to serve the position of city major in Liberia and comes with vast experience in infrastructure development, education and entrepreneurship. She has been involved with several projects around Liberia. She is a graduate of the College of North West London and possess over seventeen (17) years of experience. She has worked professionally in women’s empowerment, legal and city administration in Liberia and the United States. She has been a member of IWI board since  July 2016.

Ms. Miatta Gbayan is a trained Licensed Registered Nurse with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Cuttington University College (2003), and holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from BRAC University in Dhaka Bangladesh (2012). She is currently the Deputy Head of the Incident Management (IMS) at the Ministry of Health, Liberia. She brings to the board of IWI a wealth of experience. She has also been deeply involved with the implementation and management of systems to support the minimization of ebola in Liberia. She is was appointed to the board of IWI in July 2016.

Mrs. Barue Morris has over sixteen (16) years of experience in banking & policy making and is currently a senior principal Analyst at the Central Bank of Liberia. She earned a Master’s of Science degree in Economics from the University of Legon, in 2009. She is also a senior year student at the Lewis Arthur Grimes School of Law. She has severed on the board of other NGOs with similar objectives and has been a board member of IWI since its inception in 2012.

Mr. Jlue Wolo is an engineer with over seven (7) years of experience within the shipping industry. He began his career as project manager of Norforkine in the Netherlands and is currently the Branch manager for Maersk Cote D’Ivore S.A in San Pedro. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineer from the Stella Maries Polytechnique, Monrovia, Liberia. He has served on the board of the IWI since its inception.

Mr. Jedidiah Sazi Lawubah brings to the board of IWI over seventeen (17) years of pastoral ministry and twelve (12) years of financial management experience.  He is a graduate of the University of Legon, Located in Ghana with a Master’s of Science degree in Economic Policy for Development. Mr. Lawubah is currently a Senior Bank Examiner at the Central bank of Liberia. He has been using his personal influence to assist the disable and less fortunate which are the character that attracted him to IWI. Mr. Lawubah was IWI  first chairman of the board of Director and remains the Chairman of the Board.

Mr. Jay G. Brown comes with wealth of knowledge in policy making and finance. He holds a Masters of Arts degree in Economy Policy from the Williams College located in Massachusetts, United states of America.  He has served in various positions at the Central Bank of Liberia and is currently the Assistant Director for the Regulation and Policy Section within the Supervision Department at the Central Bank of Liberia. He was appointed to the board of IWI in July 2016.
